I get a security error when I first open the Standards Manager. Cause: The Standards Manager should be installed on your local hard drive. If the Standards Manager is installed to a network path you will get a .Net security error when you click to submit your license key. Solution: Uninstall from the network location and install the Standards Manager according to the instructions for a network setup Or If you install on a network drive you will need to adjust the .Net Security setting for the application. You can adjust .Net Security Settings from the Control Panel - Administrative Tools - Microsoft .Net Framework 1.1 Wizards. Select the executable file(CarfGuide.exe) of the Standards Manager at the network location you have installed to and then set its permission to Full Trust.
