Systems Requirements and Operating System Compatibility Minimum System Requirements
The Standards Manager will operate on Windows 2000, XP, Vista, Windows 7, Windows Server 2000, Windows Server 2003 r2, Windows Server 2008. There are some extra steps required to successfully install and operate on a PC running Vista, Windows 7, or Windows Server 2008 Installing When installing the Standards Manager from the download, you must right-click the downloaded file and choose "Run As Administrator" When installing the Standards Manager from the CD-ROM. Go to the Start Menu and click Computer. Then select your CD/DVD drive from the left-hand pane. You will see two files in the right-hand pane, right-click on the one called setup and choose "Run As Administrator" After Install After you have installed the Standards Manager. In the left-hand pane click on your C: drive and expand its contents. Navigate to "C:\Program Files\Morning Sun\CARF Standards Manager\BH" (the service unit used in this example is BH, replace this for your service unit. e.g. MED, ECS, CYS, etc.) Right-click on the file called CarfGuide.exe and choose Properties. Then select the Compatibility tab. In the Privilege Level box, on the Compatibility tab, check the box that says "Run this Program As An Administrator". Click OK |
